About Me

Hello! I’m Colin Estrellado, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 8 years of experience in the mental health field.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Disaster Studies from SUNY New Paltz and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work. I completed a Seminar in Field Instruction (SIFI) certification through the NYU Silver School of Social Work and am currently a candidate at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies, a Psychodynamic Clinical Training Program.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from a range of modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

My diverse work experience spans various settings such as schools, non-profits, and group practices, which has allowed me to support individuals across different life stages. While a significant portion of my clients identify as LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and/or Mixed-Race, I am committed to providing inclusive and respectful care to individuals of all racial, gender, and sexual identities.

What does this mean for you? Together, we can learn practical skills to manage symptoms of your mental health, explore your rich history, and enhance your daily life.

I look forward to working with you!
